I was approved for the partner program at 5:35 PM Yesterday and proceeded to verify my email and set up payment info.
I also entered my tax information.
At 7:30 PM, I received an email saying I was declined and the account was suspended.
Mind you, in that time, I had not even added any widgets, links etc. to my site.
Now the fun part.
When I try to log in, It says suspended and shows me a contact form prefilled with someone elses info?
Not just 1 person, but after another try, it showed me yet another person's name and email address prefilled in the contact form?
After trying again, it said the account was pending review?
My questions...
1) Is there a reason I would be approved then denied in 2 hours? Especially without getting started? I only had time to enter my tax and payment info.
2) Why am I being shown other people's info when I try to log into my account?
3) Is my tax and payment information secure in your system? Why are there people that I don't know associated with my login?
I am a little concerned with the instabilities and inconsistencies I have encountered thus far. Is there somone I can talk to about this? I submitted emails and such, but have not heard anything yet?
I believe at this time an account manager has gotten back to you regarding your approval status? It appears your application was initially approved by our system, but then later manually suspended upon further review.
Regarding your seeing other peoples names/email addresses, we will be looking into this immediately.
Just to close the loop on this, we take data privacy issues very seriously, and as such, we have released an emergency fix addressing the bug causing you to see names/emails of other applicants. While still concerning, it was only names/emails that were exposed, and not other personal/financial data.

Assuming you don't have a US business, I believe you should fill out the W8-BEN.
