How may I use the Epinions content on my site?
Epinions content helps increase conversion by providing consumer reviews for products. The syndication carries with it some key stipulations designed to protect the Epinions community. It's important to review them before deciding whether it will work for your implementation.
Here are the central guidelines:
- Must present the complete reviews information as it is returned by the API and cannot alter any of this content (i.e. rating, sort order, summary, pros, cons, bottom line).
- Member/author name should be displayed with the content.
- No truncation or other adulteration of the content is allowed.
- A link to read the full review on Epinions must be present.
- Epinions branding or attribution is required on the page.
